I used to think of going to the ISKCON temple in Mississippi which is pretty near to Mobile. It was a long drive from Mobile,al So we rented a vehicle . The total journey to the temple was really awesome.
We actually planned to start at 7am but as usually we made a delay in our start. So it was almost 9am by the time we started. I had many big plans for the day so I was in a bit hurry.
We made a pretty good move but unfortunately we got lost and we were not able to get the place. It looks like we were traveling in a deserted place. I see no one near by and It reminded me one of the psycho movies TCM(Texas chainsaw Massacre) . Then we came across a service station and one of my friend started enquiring about the place.
I just remembered that we had our GPS system and started fixing it to check the exact location of our destination. After a very bumpy long drive we caught the place. On my first look I did not really like the place because I was in a mode to expect a really bit temple and some devotees working in the farm over there, but don’t see any things like that.
It was 12pm and we came to know that they are going to have a harathi session. After couple of minutes the curtains were open and the harathi session was started.
It was so peaceful over there and I sat there for some time and had a little conversation about the place, when it was started. I came to know that the name talavan came from the one of the Indian places where Lord Krishna used to gaze the cows. And the place was started around 1976 It was almost 30 years till date.
After the procession we had some prasadam which was cooked by one of the devotee from Malaysia. The devotee over there really took pretty good care of us and we had some fun over there. All the words he said was Hare krsna and hare rama.
It will be one of the best places to have some spiritual peace. Some of you might not even know about the place, the address of the place is
